JAMES CALLAHAN:
The art of photography
James’s photographic career started unintentionally with Jaguar Cars and blossomed into an art form.
His superb photographs show the importance of both composition and selectivity in image making .

November 2
PAT HODSON:
Mixed-media collage
Paper, fabric, drawing, lettering, digital print & wax-resist techniques all make Pat’s decorative 
abstract designs unique. She lectures & exhibits widely in Europe and the USA, and will show us why.

Remembering Van Gogh
A celebration dinner followed by the most idiosyncratic dissertation on Van Gogh you’ve ever seen!

MIKE HENSON:
Sculpture for all
Mick was a welder and engineer, but his creative talent resulted in displays & public commissions.
His steel and fibreglass creations based on human forms are exhibited throughout the midlands.

ANGUS COCKBURN
Travels with an easel
Angus’s bold oil-painted landscapes echo the traditions of the Scottish Colourists, and are collected widely in Britain & Europe. We welcome him back after being unavailable last year due to accident.

March 7
GEORGE MURRAY:
Specialist watercolour
George is a professional painter whose specialities are architecture & cityscapes, racing cars &
army commissions. Careful technique & observational accuracy are essential to his visual realism.

April 4
CHRIS JONES:
Poultry and wildlife
Chickens will never seem the same again! Chris’s amazingly vibrant & detailed depictions use 
traditional techniques to enhance the rich colours. He will demonstrate his system using acrylics.

May 2
ANNA HOWARTH:
Decorative papercuts

Anna exhibits widely & internationally. She creates incredibly large, complex patterns with cut paper,
sometimes in colour, often inspired by folklore & fairy tales. Delightfully & decoratively different!

June 6
MARK HARRISON
Painting in light and colour
Mark was an illustrator before turning to oils & pastel. He has dabbled in most subjects but has a
particular love of luminous landscapes, and will give a demonstration of the processes involved.

July 4
JILL FANSHAWE-KATO:
Colourful ceramics

Jill studied painting in London & ceramics in Japan, and these influences can be seen in her brightly 
coloured & beautifully varied ceramic designs based on natural forms & wildlife.

August 1
